Hnefatafl is also known as The Viking Chess Game. It is a two player board game where the opposing sides do not have equal numbers. This one of a kind board game is perfect for a unique unforgettable gift or for a board game enthusiast.

This is a new board type - Glass, I hope you like it.

I am also adding in a Viking Long Boat, an honorable place to have your removed pieces rest after a glorious battle.

The glass tokens fit nicely into an included satchel bag - This edition includes both a leather and burlap bag.

The game board is 10 inches by 10 inches.

Finally I include instructions for the most common variation of the game, but please note that this game precedes chess by 1400 years... there are a few variations of the game out there.

Most importantly, HAVE FUN.. its a fast, exciting game. It does require strategy and your play will evolve over time.
