Tablero & Brandubh Duel Game Mat

I am so excited to provide you with a truly community requested (a BIG thank you to Kraken).

We have two real fun games, blended into one Mat. I have a lot of options for you purchase, so take your time reviewing what works for you or the one your buying for.

First game that can be played is :

Tablero, also known as Tablero de Jesus or Tablero de Wajiros, is a traditional drinking game which is said to date back to Spanish colonial times. This is a HUGE game for our SCA members and Ren Faire goers, as well as anyone who likes to get together with friends and have a few drinks while playing Tablero. This game is super fun. I know there are plenty of variations on how to play, so I include one of those variations in the included rule set.

The second game that can played on the mat is:

Brandubh, which is an ancient Irish board game that belongs to the family of Tafl games, which were popular throughout Northern Europe. The game is similar to other Tafl games like Hnefatafl but has its unique rules and setup. Brandubh is a strategy game, historically played between two players, where one player controls a king and a smaller number of defenders, while the other controls a larger number of attackers.

Both games are a blast.

I include playing pieces for both games in the base set.

I offer the wooden drinking mugs, which are quite large, as optional purchase.
