Hnefatafl is also known as The Viking Chess Game. It is a two-player board game where the opposing sides do not have equal numbers. I offer two designs on the back, they are included in the price and any personalization you wish to add to the back as well. Its what makes the board YOUR board.
I also now offer 3 board sizes, the standard 1/4 inch board is 11x11 inches wide, a 1/2 inch that is 12x12, as well as a 3/4 of an inch thick - 12 x12 heavier board. Both are solid, sturdy boards, so it's up to your preference and what fits your personal needs. The 1/4" board is the standard price, I do charge a little more for the thicker boards, simply because the lumber costs more.
Finally, I include instructions for the most common variation of the game, but please note that this game precedes chess by 1400 years... there are a few variations of the game out there.
Most importantly, HAVE FUN.. it is a fast, exciting game. It does require strategy and your play will evolve over time.
