Handmade Chinese Chess - Xiangqi made from wood, stained and each piece cut and carved.

This set represents the current Chinese "Year of the Tiger". Each Chinese year, I will redesign the set.

Chinese chess "Xiangqi" (kit. 象棋) is a Chinese board game similar to Western chess, Indian chaturanga, Japanese shogi. This is one of the most popular board games in the world, common outside of China.

The board is uniquely designed and the back has the name of the game as well as the Four Blessings of Fen Shui - Virtue, Longevity, Prosperity and Good Health. I can also place your own personal message underneath these symbols for free.

This is a fantastic game and perfect for any fan of ancient games.

The wooden board comes in a variety of sizes (so you have options), each piece is nearly an inch in circumference and a quarter inch thick.

The set comes with instructions as well as a burlap bag for the pieces.
