I purchased the 9×9 Hnefatafl board, engraved with a Viking image and my name in runes—it's an absolute work of art. I was so excited to get it, and Mr. Robert was beyond kind and professional. He even refunded me for overpaying—something he didn't have to do, but did anyway. The craftsmanship is stunning, the pieces are beautifully made, and the pictures don't do it justice. It's all very nice. The wood feels nice there are a few places where there is few spots that is not smooth but it is no big deal.

The piece is great the white has a lot of black spots and one piece is chipped on the bottom, the black ones have a few white spots on some of them and two is chipped by the spear.

The carving feels and looks great and everything smells good

The instructions layout diagram is for 11x11 not the 9x9 but it easy to figure out would be nice if the diagram layout was correct

In the 9x9 i use all the white because I like the look of the king being completely squared in but the white
